Certificate Programs

A Certificate Program is a series of classes that teaches a specialized job skill. One of the most valuable benefits of completing a program is that when you’re finished, you are more prepared to enter the workforce. Workforce training in business and information technology includes:

Computer Labs

Self-paced, computer labs are staffed by Continuing Education instructors to help students complete Accounting/Office Skills Certificate Program goals. There may be an occasional lecture on a specific topic, but mostly you complete exercises from tutorial books at your own pace, and the instructor will answer questions. You might be working with a word processing program, but the person next to you could be learning spreadsheets.

Instructor-Led Short-Term Classes

Short-term classes designed for busy adults, and most meet for one to three sessions. Classrooms and computers are modern, so you can learn in a comfortable setting. Instructors are experienced and educated. The latest trends in computer use and software are taught. Beginners to advanced users can benefit from a free class. Examples of classes include:
