DONA ORGANIZATION is a registered NGO in Faisalabad, Pakistan who works for the empowerment and education of poor children, women and young girls of the society.
We want to help poor children from the populated and backward areas of Faisalabad who do not have a computer education/ knowledge. They sometimes don’t even know the meaning and purpose of a computer.
DONA wants to address the lack of computer and IT education for poor children in Faisalabad by providing a computer education center. The problem is that existing computer centers are not affordable for poor children, and are not provided by a majority of schools.
What is your project and how will it help?
DONA ORGANIZATION® NGO with the support of donors will establish a computer educational institution in Faisalabad where a first group of 40-50 poor children will be benefited.
The computer center will be a platform to such children so that they can have at least a basic computer education that will enable them to interact with computers, know its functions and different uses. For this purpose, the project includes a center, equipment, teachers, an appropriate learning environment and continuous testing for children.
By addressing such lack, DONA also aims to help remediate the issue of career and job opportunities, a more civilized society, global interaction for children in Pakistan.

DONA ORGANIZATION has very good and broad relations with other local organizations and always work with them for the development of poor communities.
More over the Parish of Faisalabad is also in relation with us and always encourages our programs and projects.
Local organizations have already trusted us with a financial support of Rs. 50000 (US$ 505 approx).

The total project amount is US$ 8, 363 approx. for the Computer Education Center for children in Faisalabad, Pakistan. (Rs.828000 in local currency)
The amount includes:
First time purchase of related items & furnishing, and one year fees for a place on rent, electricity bill, 3 members of staff/trainers and one Head/principal’ salaries, office boy, sweeper, wear & tear, and other utilities.
